Associate Schedule Items

What are Associated Schedule Items?

Associated Schedule Items are Rate and Form filing information linked to each Plan within a Binder. This feature was introduced to aid state users by allowing them to review previously submitted Rate and Form filing data that is related to the QHP submission. For example, policy forms may not be considered part of QHP review, but they are an important piece of the final product that reaches the consumer. If an issuer has associated Schedule Items to each Plan, the state will be able to view SERFF Filing attachments without leaving the Plan Management workspace as they review a Binder.

Things to keep in mind:

  • For each Associated Schedule Item listed, the corresponding SERFF filing's status is displayed.
  • If a SERFF filing is rejected by the state, issuers may still associate the filing's Schedule Items to a Binder.
  • Issuers are not allowed to associate draft schedule items to SERFF Binders.
  • If an Associated Schedule Item is revised and submitted on the corresponding SERFF filing, only the current version of the item will appear on the SERFF Binder.
  • How do I view Associated Schedule Items?

If Rate and Form Schedule Items have been associated to the Plan(s), users may choose to view the associated Schedule Items by Plan or by Schedule Items.

Note: For each Associated Schedule Item listed, the corresponding SERFF filing's status is displayed.
