Fees and Company and Contact
What is new in Fees for Plan Management?
The Fees Tab displays the fees associated with each Plan. The Plans are listed by Standard Component ID. If the state is charging fees for QHP submissions, the amounts submitted, per plan, by the issuer will display here. If the state charges a flat fee for QHP submission or uses another fee structure different from per plan, the issuer may include the total fees under one Plan and bypass the fee payments on the remaining Plans. States should include information about how fees for Binders are charged in its Plan Management General Instructions.
What is new in Company and Contact for Plan Management?
The SERFF system will receive data feeds from both the NCQA and URAC accreditation entities. This data will be included on Plan Binders based on the NCQA or URAC IDs set up in the company profile.
With the initial release on March 28th, this data is not yet available for loading into SERFF. Issuers have been encouraged to ensure the NCQA and URAC IDs are correct on the company profile so the data will automatically populate on the Binder once it has been loaded into SERFF. It is anticipated that both the NCQA and URAC data will be loaded sometime during April. SERFF will send communication to states when this data has been loaded so any submitted Binders can be re-reviewed for accreditation information.
