Post-Submission Updates
What is a Post-Submission Update?
The Post-Submission Update feature of SERFF gives industry users the ability to update various filing fields after the filing has been submitted. Depending on a state setting, these updates will be allowed on open filings, both open and closed filings, or none at all. Once received, the state will review the request and allow or disallow the changes.
How do I make a Post-Submission Update request?
Go to the Filing Correspondence tab. Under the Post-Submission Update section, click Create Post-Submission Update. The Create Post-Submission Update window will appear with the fields available for updating. Make the desired changes and Save, then submit the request. If the changes are allowed, the updated fields will be marked with an indicator.
What fields can I change in a Post-Submission Update request?
The following fields can be changed in either a PC or LH filing, unless specifically noted.

How will I know if my request was accepted?
Once the state has reviewed your Post-Submission Update request, you will receive a message in your SERFF Message Center advising that your request has been allowed or disallowed.
