Responding to an Objection Letter with No Objections
Some states do not utilize individual Objections when sending an Objection Letter. These states may type all their issues in as comments or may attach a file detailing their review findings. In these cases, a single Objection icon will appear in the Filing at a Glance area. The detail for the icon will instruct the user to view the Objection Letter on the Correspondence tab.
Responding to these types of Objection Letters is simple. First, make all the schedule item revisions and additions as you would with any Objection Letter. Click here for more information on this process.
Once all changes have been made, start the Response Letter by clicking the "Respond" button next to the Objection Letter on the Correspondence tab. SERFF will pull in all the schedule item changes and put them in order. If any of the schedule item changes should not be submitted as part of this Response Letter, click the "Remove" button to the left of that item.
After ensuring all necessary changes have been made and are displayed in the Response Letter, complete the Comments field. Once the Response Letter is saved, the Submit button will be available. Click Submit to make the Response Letter available to the state.
